亞馬遜推 AI 助理「Ask this Book」想提升閱讀體驗，但作者不滿且引版權疑慮

亞馬遜最近推出新功能「Ask this Book」，是基於人工智慧的助理，可幫助 Kindle 用戶輕鬆理解閱讀中的書，用戶讀電子書時可隨時詢問 AI 助理情節、角色關係和主題等問題，無需再回頭翻書找答案。用戶只需 highlight 任何段落，然後選擇建議問題或輸入問題，系統會提供即時、上下文相關答案，避免劇透。

新功能目前僅限美國Kindle iOS，亞馬遜9月硬體活動已宣布，2026年擴展至Kindle設備和Android平台。亞馬遜還推出其他工具，如AI Recaps和Assistive Reader，加強平台功能。

但新功能引發作者和出版商擔憂，因是「始終開啟」，且沒有退出選項。許多作者對作品被AI幫忙閱讀感到不安，也可能侵犯版權。批評者質疑，這種AI解釋是否分散讀者注意力，削弱書籍本身闡明主題或情節的功能。

儘管新功能是為了提升閱讀體驗，但亞馬遜尚未回應反對意見。AI進一步發展，未來閱讀這娛樂行為可能會面臨更多挑戰和討論。
