據 App Annie 應用程式市場報告顯示，2014 年第三季 Google Play App 下載量比蘋果 App Store 下載量高 60%，其中印度和巴西市場的 Google Play 下載量成長最快，在營收方面蘋果 App Store 則領先 60%。
