DeepSeek最新模型DeepSeek-V4號稱「全球最高性價比推理模型」，定價為每百萬token為0.10美元（比V3的0.35美元大幅下降），輸出為每百萬token為0.30美元（原價1.10美元），高用量客戶實際費率甚至可低於0.05美元。DeepSeek-V4有1.5兆參數，擅於長上下文推理（可達200萬token）、數學計算（GSM8K得分98.7%）以及中英文寫程式，且完全開源，權重已在Hugging Face公開。

DeepSeek執行長梁文峰在微信說：「人工智慧應對所有開發者開放，而不只是大型科技公司。我們補貼推理費，以建立生態系統。」此策略在DeepSeek-V3 1月推出時，就迅速佔據中國API市場40%。
中國AI業2025年共獲超過100億美元投資，DeepSeek策略顯現美國制裁下也能自給自足的決心。價格戰不僅影響中國，還可能對西方市場造成壓力，分析師預測到2027年，API價格可能會降至每百萬token低於0.01美元。
