專攻高階客戶，藍色起源 TeraWave 打造偏遠地區的「太空光纖」

在太空競賽中，藍色起源（Blue Origin）最近宣布推出其新衛星網路 TeraWave，這個舉措旨在與 SpaceX 的 Starlink 展開競爭。TeraWave 承諾提供全球範圍內的對稱數據速度，最高可達 6Tbps，專注於企業和政府用戶。根據藍色起源的說法，這個網路將由 5,408 顆衛星組成，其中 5,280 顆位於低地球軌道（LEO），可透過 Q/V 頻段無線電頻率鏈路提供高達 144Gbps 的速度，而 128 顆衛星則位於中地球軌道（MEO），能夠透過光學衛星間鏈路實現高達 6Tbps 的速度。

TeraWave的目標市場主要是企業、資料中心和政府客戶，預計將服務約10萬名用戶，這與Starlink的數百萬消費者用戶形成鮮明對比。藍色起源首席執行長Dave Limp表示，這個網路是專為企業客戶設計的，強調對稱的上傳和下載速度、更高的吞吐量、冗餘性以及在光纖成本高昂或不切實際的地區（如偏遠、農村和郊區）中的快速擴展能力。

TeraWave的部署計畫將於2027年第四季開始，這個時間表使其與以消費者為重點的LEO網路如Starlink有所區別，因為TeraWave更注重於建立大容量數據管道，而非大眾市場服務。藍色起源的高層領導團隊包括亞馬遜Lab126硬體部門前副總裁Lindo St. Angel擔任新興系統的高級副總裁，並在Dave Limp的領導下運作。
