三星電子宣布全球召回並停售電池存在爆炸風險的 Galaxy Note 7，與該公司合作開發 Gear VR 的Oculus 也宣布，將遠程強制升級 Gear VR 作業系統，該產品不再相容 Galaxy Note 7。
