因為對高層性騷擾事件的姑息，Google 在 2018 年爆發了大規模的罷工。雖然公司釋出善意並承諾改善問題，但事後卻傳出對組織罷工的員工秋後算帳的消息。該名員工宣稱遭到公司報復，並決定將辭職離開 Google。
